Our all-time favorite and one of Memere’s original caramels. She only ever made plain or walnut. I wonder what she would think of all of our varieties now?
Chock-full of diced walnuts, there’s something quite “moreish” about the varieties with nuts – it has to be the nuttiness paired with the butter and sugar… you REALLY can’t eat just one. You can TRY, but it’s impossible to resist. Bon Appetit!
